In its most recent, and frankly rather unexpected, career pivot, Tesla’s Optimus was caught red-handed, dishing out a rather generous helping of sweets in the perpetually buzzing Times Square. Our metallic marvel, however, remained resolutely tethered to a power source, a rather stark, if not entirely chuffed, reminder that even our impending robotic overlords are still, for the time being, very much reliant on the mains.
